The weather is warm– which means it is open-window season! Spring and early summer are an excellent time of the year to cut-down on your HVAC bill and let in a cool breeze. Make use of the sunny weather, make your windows sparkle! In this article, Right Away Heating will share three ways to make your windows crystal clear for the rest of the year!
Window screens are often forgotten which makes them great at storing gunk and dirt. For clean windows that will look great for months, clean the screens. Cleaning your screens will dramatically improve your windows shine and improve the view from inside your home. We recommend removing your screens. Pr-rinse them with your garden hose, use dish soap and a natural sponge to clean.
For windows that sparkle, wipe away water and soap with a squeegee.Start at the top left, pull the squeegee over your window in a reverse-S pattern. At the end of each stroke, wipe the squeegee’s blade clean with a clean cloth.
Use a hog-bristle brush to clean stubborn windowpanes. Natural sponges do an excellent job of absorbing dirt and grease from your windowpanes. Simply rub each pane from left to right, top to bottom, working the sponge edges into the corners to loosen grime.
Alcohol works well in cleaning agents, because it evaporates well, making it perfect for cleaning glass and widows. Use rubbing alcohol on mirrors, ceramic tiles, windows, and chrome, for a beautiful home. You will find that rubbing alcohol is a great cleaning solution, and base for many products.
Now is the time to thoroughly clean your windows, before you’re reliant on your HVAC system to keep your home comfortable. Make use of the gorgeous weather and make your windows sparkle!
